What happens during eyebrow and eyelash tinting?

One of our aestheticians will thoroughly cleanse the eyebrow area to remove any oils or residue. Next, a protective balm or cream will be applied around the eyebrows to prevent any accidental staining of the skin.

The tinting dye, a semi-permanent vegetable-based dye, will then be mixed and applied. During the process, the aesthetician will carefully shape and apply the dye, ensuring that the desired color is achieved and evenly distributed.

The dye will be left on for a specified amount of time, which will depend on the color intensity you want (anywhere from 5-15 minutes). Your aesthetician will carefully monitor your eyebrows or eyelashes to ensure that the color is developing properly and evenly.

Once the dye has set, the aesthetician will use a damp cloth or cotton pad to remove the tinting dye. The protective balm or cream will also be removed.

The aesthetician will then examine your eyebrows or eyelashes to ensure that the desired color has been achieved. Eyebrows will be shaped or groomed.

How long will the effects last?

Eyebrow and eyelash tinting can last up to four weeks, depending on the rate of hair growth and the quality of the dye used. Many people get their eyebrows or eyelashes tinted every four to six weeks to maintain results.

Will it hurt?

No. The process is typically painless, and you shouldn’t experience any discomfort during or after the procedure. Some people may experience a minor allergic reaction.

Can I choose the color of my eyebrow or eyelash tint?

Yes! Your aesthetician will talk to you about the color and intensity you are seeking and choose an appropriate tint.

Can I wear eye makeup after getting my eyebrows or eyelashes tinted?

Yes, you can still wear eye makeup. In general, it’s recommended to wait 24 hours before using makeup again. Your aesthetician can give you instructions.
